Agrobank Funds Aquaculture Initiative At SMK Nyalas

Melaka: Agrobank has allocated RM140,000 for the Aquaculture Aspire Programme at Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan (SMK) Nyalas, near here incorporating the biofloc technology. Its president and chief executive officer Tengku Ahmad Badli Shah Raja Hussin said in a statement that the initiative aims to empower students in aquaculture while contributing to the nation’s food security agenda.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the programme introduces a unique and innovative approach using environmentally friendly biofloc technology for tilapia farming. Tengku Ahmad added that SMK Nyalas was selected due to its Upper Secondary Vocational Programme, which specialises in agriculture. In addition to the funding, Agrobank also distributed zakat assistance to 50 students.
