AGC Launches MADANI Adopted School Programme to Enhance Educational Facilities

Pasir Hor:The Attorney-General's Chambers (AGC) is expanding its role beyond legal matters by engaging in community outreach, specifically through the MADANI Adopted School Programme. This initiative was highlighted by Attorney-General Tan Sri Mohd Dusuki Mokhtar at the launch event held at SK Pasir Hor.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Mohd Dusuki emphasized the AGC's dedication to societal contributions, particularly in the realm of education. The MADANI Adopted School Programme is a testament to this commitment, focusing on improving educational infrastructure. The programme's efforts received some scrutiny from various quarters, including parliamentary discussions questioning government agency involvement.

The programme included a RM100,000 allocation for both physical and digital enhancements at SK Pasir Hor. The upgrades encompassed the creation of the Puan Sri Nik Karthini Resource Centre Digital Hub, establishment of a School Resource Centre TV Studio, improvements to Dewan Aspirasi with new industrial fans and a sound system, and the construction of Anjung Dusuki for Special Education Integrated Programme pupils.

Mohd Dusuki explained that these projects were a result of collaborative efforts between the AGC and the school administration, aiming to address infrastructure needs while prioritizing student welfare. He highlighted the government's objective to ensure developmental benefits extend beyond urban areas to grassroots communities.

Additionally, Mohd Dusuki expressed the AGC's interest in contributing through legal awareness, character building, and instilling integrity values in students. He believes these initiatives will support teachers in developing well-rounded students with both academic and moral strengths. He encouraged pupils at SK Pasir Hor to fully utilize the new facilities and heed their teachers' and parents' guidance.

The launch event was also attended by Education Ministry Deputy Director-General (Professional Development Sector) Datuk Amzan Abd Malek and Kelantan Education Department director Siti Norina Muhamad.
