Kuala lumpur: A total of 175 participants, including junior, amputee, and female football players, attended a training session with the Harimau Malaya squad at Bukit Jalil National Stadium. The session was led by Peter Cklamovski.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, the Football Association of Malaysia (FAM) announced on its official Facebook page that the event, titled ‘Semua Turun Padang! Wanita, Junior dan Amputee Bersama Harimau Malaya,’ was initiated by Youth and Sports Minister Hannah Yeoh. The program was a collaborative effort between the Ministry of Youth and Sports (MBS) and the governing body.
The participants included members of the national Under-20 women’s football squad, Mokhtar Dahari Academy coaches, an amputee team, and the Kepong FC B8 youth team, which won the 2025 Iber Cup. During the event, participants had the chance to interact with the Harimau Malaya coaching staff and players, and to pose questions to Cklamovski and players such as Arif Aiman Hanapi, Faisal Halim, Shahrul Saad, Ahmad Syihan Hazmi Mohamed, Azri Ghani, Dion Cools, Jon Irazabal, Paulo Josue, and new Harimau Malaya star Joao Figueiredo.
The event was considered a unique and special experience for participants, offering them an opportunity for direct engagement with the national squad. The programme was attended by FAM acting president, Datuk Wira Mohd Yusoff Haji Mahadi, and KBS deputy secretary-general (strategy), Chan Hong Jin.
