Kuala lumpur: Community outreach programs like Ziarah Kasih serve as a constant reminder that amidst the hustle and bustle of daily life, there are still individuals facing various life challenges who require the community's attention, support, and care, said Communications Minister Datuk Fahmi Fadzil.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, in a Facebook post, Fahmi emphasized that every visit conducted opens up opportunities to get closer to those in need, while also understanding the realities of the lives they face. He shared his recent experiences during the Ziarah Kasih programme, where he visited several residents in Kampung Pasir Baru and Taman Seri Sentosa.
Fahmi mentioned spending time with individuals such as Md Fozi Abdullah, Chan Peng Keong, and Evangelin Miranda. He expressed hope that his presence and attention would bring meaning and further strengthen the bonds within the community.
In the same post, Fahmi also prayed for the continued strength, eased affairs, and improved health for the individuals he visited, underscoring the importance of community solidarity and care.
