Kuala lumpur: Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi has expressed appreciation to personnel of the Fire and Rescue Department (JBPM) for their unwavering commitment, discipline and sacrifices.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, in his message in conjunction with International Firefighters' Day, he highlighted that every emergency moment demands extraordinary courage, and during such critical times, firefighters step forward without hesitation to shoulder the responsibility of protecting lives and property.

Ahmad Zahid, who also serves as the Rural and Regional Development Minister, conveyed his appreciation via a Facebook post, acknowledging the dedication of JBPM personnel. He also offered prayers for all firemen, hoping they continue to receive strength, protection, and resilience in fulfilling their crucial responsibilities.
