Johor bahru: Yayasan Sultan Ibrahim Johor (YSIJ) continues to support education and student welfare in Johor through the donation of 10 smart televisions (Smart TVs) and 2,000 pairs of spectacles to selected schools and students under the Johor Bahru District Education Office (PPD). According to BERNAMA News Agency, 75-inch smart TVs were donated to 10 schools to support digital learning in the classroom, while 2,000 pairs of spectacles were distributed to B40 students in 20 schools through a strategic partnership with Season Optical. This time, the programme also saw the use of Columba Vision Screener technology, an eye-scanning device donated by His Majesty Sultan Ibrahim, King of Malaysia. The technology is capable of detecting individual vision problems within 10 seconds, facilitating faster screening at schools, while the frames and lenses provided are durable, of good quality and suitable for students. The donation was handed over by YSIJ senior manager Shah Reza Md Kanafe to Johor Education Departme nt Student Development Sector principal assistant director (Student Affairs) Mohd Khatta Muhamad and Johor Bahru PPD chief officer Adnan Samsudin at a ceremony held at Johor Bahru PPD today. Also present was Season Optical managing director Sally Loh.
