Youth Must Have Open, Positive Attitude, High Education To Drive National Change – Dr Wan Azizah

Bandar Tun Razak: MP Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail wants youth to always have an open mindset, a positive attitude, and a high level of education so they can bring about positive changes to the country.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Dr Wan Azizah emphasized the need for today’s youth to be bolder, smarter, more patriotic, and more passionate compared to previous generations, envisioning a better, more advanced, and prosperous Malaysia in the future. These remarks were made during the Malaysian Youth Unity Iftar event, organized by the Malaysian Youth Council (MBM).

The event saw the presence of Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports, Adam Adli Abd Halim, along with 250 guests, including youth leaders, religious leaders, former youth leaders, students, and MBM’s strategic partners. A significant highlight of the event was the launch of the MBM Harmony Committee, a strategic initiative aimed at enhancing unity and harmony between different races and religions in the nation through collaborative efforts with the government.

MBM president Mohd Izzat Afifi Abdul Hamid noted that the committee will provide a platform for youth representatives from various ethnicities and religions to engage in discussions and address sensitive issues related to unity. The committee plans to roll out unity and harmony programs across Malaysia, engaging MBM’s affiliated bodies, particularly those centered around ethnicity, religion, and race.

The ultimate goal, as articulated by Mohd Izzat, is to resolve sensitive issues and ensure that youth act as ambassadors of unity, setting the best example in delivering the message of peace to the people of Malaysia.
