Kuala lumpur: Tengku Datuk Seri Zafrul Abdul Aziz, senior political advisor to the Prime Minister, emphasized that women serve as catalysts for change and are a source of inspiration, capable of driving significant social impact within society.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, this sentiment is beautifully captured in an autobiographical exhibition titled 'Hikayat' by Noor 'Aishah Abdul Rahman, known as Noura AR. The exhibition highlights the multifaceted life journey of a woman as an artist, wife, and mother. It not only showcases artworks but also acts as a narrative platform, illustrating the identity, resilience, and strength of a woman as she navigates through various life challenges.
Tengku Zafrul praised Noura AR's resilience, noting her ability to return to art after dedicating time to her family. Her life experiences have shaped her identity, strength, and artistic approach, with her works embodying themes of resilience, acceptance, and hope. These reflections were shared during the opening of the exhibition at HARTA Space.
In recognition of International Women's Day, which is celebrated tomorrow, Tengku Zafrul expressed his hope that women artists like Noura AR will continue to use art as a medium of expression for healing and to foster social change. The 'Hikayat' exhibition, which is open to the public until March 31, serves as a testament to life's lessons and tests, as well as a journey of self-redemption towards the Creator.
