Sarawak: Sarawak recorded the highest regional score of 0.791 in the National Unity Index (IPNas) 2025, reflecting the state's strong social cohesion.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, National Unity Minister Datuk Seri Aaron Ago Dagang announced that the recently released IPNas report is the third iteration of the study measuring national unity levels. "By regional breakdown, Sarawak posted the highest unity index. However, when compared by state, Pahang recorded a higher score of 0.817, followed by Melaka (0.816)," he said.
He shared these insights while speaking to reporters after attending the opening ceremony of the Gerak Rahmah: Jom Masak Bubur Lambuk Perpaduan Sarawak state-level 2026 programme at Dataran Tun Tuanku Bujang.
Aaron highlighted that today's event was a collaboration among various state and federal agencies, alongside active community participation, including Rukun Tetangga Areas in the Sibu Division. It marked the fourth edition of the programme, during which over 5,000 containers of bubur lambuk were distributed.
