Permatang bertam: The National Film Development Corporation Malaysia (FINAS), with the support of the Ministry of Communications, organised a wayang pacak (open-air cinema screening) here tonight to bring the younger generation closer to local films while strengthening community ties.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, Communications Minister Datuk Fahmi Fadzil emphasized the importance of such programmes, especially in rural areas, as they not only provide entertainment but also cultivate interest among the youth in local productions.
