Kuala lumpur: The Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) today issued a warning of thunderstorms, heavy rain, and strong winds in several states, including the Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur and the Federal Territory of Labuan, until 5 pm today.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, the bad weather is expected to affect the entire state of Pahang, including Jerantut, Bentong, Kuantan, and Pekan. Selangor will see similar conditions in Gombak, Kuala Langat, and Hulu Langat, while Negeri Sembilan's Jelebu area is also under alert.
The warning extends to Sarawak, where affected areas include Sarikei (Sarikei and Meradong), Sibu (Sibu and Selangau), Mukah, Bintulu (Tatau and Bintulu), Miri (Miri and Marudi), and Limbang.
In Sabah, the Interior regions such as Sipitang, Kuala Penyu, Beaufort, and Tambunan, along with the West Coast, Tawau (Kunak, Semporna, and Lahad Datu), Sandakan (Tongod, Kinabatangan, and Sandakan), and Kudat (Kota Marudu), are also expected to experience severe weather.
