Kuala lumpur: The Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) has issued a warning of thunderstorms, heavy rain, and strong winds in seven states until 7 tonight.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, MetMalaysia in a statement announced that the states involved are Kedah (Sik and Baling), Kelantan (Tumpat, Pasir Mas, Kota Bharu, Jeli, Tanah Merah, Bachok, Machang, and Pasir Puteh) and Terengganu (Besut and Setiu).

Similar weather conditions are anticipated in Negeri Sembilan (Jelebu, Kuala Pilah, Jempol, and Tampin) and Johor (Tangkak, Segamat, Muar, Batu Pahat, Kluang, Mersing, and Kota Tinggi).

In Sarawak, the affected areas include Sibu, Mukah (Matu, Dalat, and Mukah), Kapit (Song and Kapit), Bintulu (Tatau), and Miri (Subis, Beluru, Miri, and Marudi). Meanwhile, in Sabah, the impacted regions are the interior (Tambunan), West Coast, Sandakan (Telupid, Kinabatangan, Beluran, and Sandakan), and Kudat (Kota Marudu).
