Kuala lumpur: The Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) has issued a warning of thunderstorms, heavy rain, and strong winds affecting five states until 11 AM today. The weather alert underscores the potential for severe weather conditions that could impact daily activities and safety in the affected regions.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, MetMalaysia's statement highlights that Pahang, specifically Bentong and Temerloh, and Negeri Sembilan, including Jelebu, Kuala Pilah, Jempol, and Tampin, are expected to experience the adverse weather conditions. The warning also extends to Melaka and Johor, particularly affecting the areas of Tangkak and Muar.
In addition, the inclement weather is predicted to affect various parts of Sarawak. The specific areas under alert include Sibu (Selangau), Mukah (Dalat and Mukah), Kapit (Kapit and Bukit Mabong), and Bintulu. Residents in these regions are advised to take necessary precautions to ensure safety and minimize disruptions caused by the anticipated weather.
