Tehran: The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) Navy Commander Rear Admiral Alireza Tangsiri has declared that vessels associated with US and Israeli aggressors are barred from traversing the Strait of Hormuz. This statement was reported by Mehr News Agency (MNA).
According to BERNAMA News Agency, Tangsiri made this announcement via a post on his X account, where he emphasized, 'No vessel linked to Israeli and US aggressors is allowed to cross the Strait of Hormuz. If you doubt, approach and try it.' This declaration reiterates Iran's stance at the onset of the conflict, reinforcing their position against allowing passage to vessels associated with nations deemed as aggressors.
Tangsiri further reiterated that the directive remains firm. He called on any doubting parties to test the resolve of the IRGC by attempting to navigate the critical waterway, underscoring the seriousness of Iran's position in the region.
