Kuala lumpur: Applications for the 2026/2027 academic year for certificate, foundation, diploma, and bachelor's programmes via UPUOnline will be open from January 29 to March 23 (Phase One) and April 13 to May 15 (Phase Two). The Ministry of Higher Education (MOHE) announced that applications are available for entry to 20 public universities, 36 polytechnics, 106 community colleges, and two institutions under the Majlis Amanah Rakyat (MARA) Higher Education Division (BPT).
According to BERNAMA News Agency, Phase One applications are open to Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) and Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM) graduates or equivalent, while Phase Two is limited to study programmes without interviews or entrance tests. The ministry encourages all qualified candidates to seize this opportunity to pursue higher education, with 363 programmes available for SPM graduates and 1,146 programmes for STPM or equivalent graduates across the educational institutions.
From January 28, UPUOnline PINs can be purchased at 387 Bank Simpanan Nasional (BSN) branch counters, 843 BSN ATMs, and through myBSN internet banking for RM10.60 before submitting applications. BSN will provide the PIN along with a payment receipt, which applicants are advised to keep as proof of purchase.
