UniSIRAJ Achieves Major Success with Consultancy Projects

Samarkand:Universiti Islam Antarabangsa Tuanku Syed Sirajuddin (UniSIRAJ) has reached a remarkable milestone by securing 24 consultancy projects valued at RM1,489,115, significantly surpassing its initial target of RM100,000.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the Raja Muda of Perlis, Tuanku Syed Faizuddin Putra Jamalullail, who serves as the chancellor of UniSIRAJ, stated that this accomplishment highlights the effectiveness of the university's revenue-generation efforts through consultancy services. It also underscores the demand for the expertise and skills of UniSIRAJ's staff.

Tuanku Syed Faizuddin Putra emphasized that this achievement not only strengthens the financial position of the university but also enhances its reputation and strategic networks. He spoke about the importance of offering knowledge- and expertise-based solutions to external parties after attending a dinner hosted by the Deputy Governor of the Samarkand Region, Kobilov Rustam Rajabboyevich, in Uzbekistan.

The event was also attended by the Raja Puan Muda of Perlis, Tuanku Dr. Hajah Lailatul Shahreen Akashah Khalil, their daughter Hajah Sharifah Farah Adriana Jamalullail, and the Malaysian Ambassador to the Republic of Uzbekistan, Rafedah Abdul Aziz.

The Raja Muda of Perlis noted that entities such as Tavekun Manufacturing, the MAIPs Asnaf Transformation Academy (ATAM), and Ihsan Care Berhad are among the clients engaging with UniSIRAJ’s services. This signifies the value and demand for the university's expertise across various sectors.

He further noted that consultancy services have evolved into a significant revenue-generating source for UniSIRAJ while enabling academic staff to directly apply their expertise to meet the practical needs of organizations and communities.

Tuanku Syed Faizuddin Putra highlighted the need to strengthen this potential by systematically mapping staff expertise, developing structured consultancy packages, and expanding strategic networks with corporate sectors, industries, governmental agencies, and NGOs. This strategy is crucial to ensure consultancy services contribute not only to revenue but also to knowledge transfer, innovation, and community engagement.

In addition to the discussions about consultancy, Tuanku Syed Faizuddin Putra also visited the Registan Sound and Light Show at Registan Square, a historical landmark in Samarkand known for its three main madrasas: Ulugh Beg, Sher-Dor, and Tilya-Kori. The Istana Arau noted that Registan's architectural grandeur, adorned with blue tiles and mosaics, stands as a significant example of Islamic heritage in Central Asia.
