Kuala lumpur: An unemployed man, arrested for allegedly assaulting and molesting a nine-year-old girl in Bukit Sentosa, Rawang, on January 29, will face charges in court by tomorrow at the latest. Selangor police chief Datuk Shazeli Kahar stated that the man would be charged in the Kuala Kubu Bharu Magistrate's Court under Section 325 of the Penal Code.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Datuk Shazeli Kahar confirmed that the investigation paper had been completed and directives were issued for the charge under Section 325. He mentioned that the charge would be made either today or tomorrow, subject to no unforeseen obstacles.

Earlier, Hulu Selangor police chief Supt Ibrahim Husin reported that a 23-year-old unemployed man had been detained on suspicion of the assault and molestation incident. The incident was reported at 8 pm as it happened while the victim was on her way to a night market with her siblings. The suspect's drug test results also returned positive.
