Kuala terengganu: Two imports and one naturalised player have become the latest recruits for Terengganu FC (TFC) ahead of this season's Malaysian League (M-League) competition. Terengganu Football Club Sdn Bhd (TFC) informed in a statement today that former Johor Darul Ta'zim (JDT) player Romel Morales, Victor Ruiz, and Ngweni Ndasi have signed one-year contracts respectively with the Turtles squad running from July to May 2027.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the presence of these three players is expected to strengthen and elevate TFC's standing in the national football scene. "The arrival of these three key figures in attack, midfield, and defence is believed to complement and further enhance the Turtles' performance in facing a league season expected to be tougher and more challenging.

"Everyone at TFC warmly welcome them to Terengganu. We place high hopes on each player to deliver consistent performances to ensure TFC can achieve its set targets," the statement read.

Meanwhile, Morales said in the same statement that he is aware of the huge task ahead after deciding to join TFC. However, the midfielder, who possesses vast experience in both the local and international football scenes, pledged to give his full commitment to raising the team's reputation.

At the same time, Ruiz, who plays as a striker, also vowed in the statement to work hard and deliver his best performance for the team and the Turtles' supporters. The former Kuala Lumpur City FC (KL City FC) player admitted that he was eager to begin training at his new club under the guidance of head coach Mohd Nafuzi Zain.
