Two Bus Drivers Arrested On Suspected Drug Possession At Gua Musang RandR

Gua musang: Police arrested two express bus drivers on suspicions of possessing methamphetamine found hidden in the back of the driver's seat during an operation at the Gua Musang Rest and Relaxation Area (RandR) on Monday.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Gua Musang district police chief Supt Sik Choon Foo stated that the two men, aged 39 and 46, were taken into custody after police conducted an inspection on an express bus they were believed to be driving. The inspection revealed methamphetamine concealed in the back of the driver's seat.

Police also seized several items believed to be connected to the investigation, valued at an estimated total of RM2,500. Supt Sik Choon Foo confirmed this in a statement released today.

Both suspects tested negative for drugs but have been remanded for further investigations under Section 39A(2) of the Dangerous Drugs Act 1952.
