Jakarta:Frédéric Charles Petit, the founder and CEO of Toluna, has announced his decision to step down from his role once a successor is appointed. This move marks the beginning of a planned leadership transition at the consumer insights and market research technology company.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, Petit, who established Toluna 25 years ago, will remain involved with the company by continuing as a board member, retaining a significant shareholding, and assuming a strategic advisory role. The company stated that its board, in collaboration with Petit, has initiated a structured succession process. A handover plan is also in place to ensure continuity for clients, employees, and business partners, with the announcement of the next CEO expected soon.
Petit expressed that leading Toluna has been the highlight of his professional career and emphasized that the company has a robust foundation, skilled team, and a technology platform ready for the next phase of AI-powered consumer insights.
Toluna's Chairman, Bruce Haymes, acknowledged Petit's contributions, noting that he transformed the company from a mere concept into a global entity with a solid platform and strategy for the future. Haymes affirmed the board's support for the transition and welcomed Petit's continued involvement with the company.
Under Petit's guidance, Toluna pioneered the integration of online consumer panels with research technology and has recently advanced in AI-powered insights. The company assured that its strategy, client commitments, and daily operations would remain uninterrupted throughout the transition as it continues to pursue growth in technology-enabled and AI-driven consumer insights.
