Thunderstorms, Heavy Rain Expected in Six Malaysian States Tonight

Kuala lumpur: The Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) has issued a warning about thunderstorms, heavy rain, and strong winds for six states, which is expected to last until 11 pm tonight.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the affected areas include several regions in Peninsula Malaysia: Perak (specifically Hulu Perak, Kuala Kangsar, Kinta, Perak Tengah, and Kampar), Kelantan (Gua Musang), Terengganu (Dungun and Kemaman), and Pahang (Tanah Tinggi Cameron, Lipis, and Jerantut).

In addition, the warning extends to parts of Sarawak, including Kuching (Bau and Kuching), Serian, and Samarahan. Areas in Sabah, such as Sandakan (Tongod, Telupid, Kinabatangan, and Sandakan), are also expected to experience these weather conditions. Residents in these regions are advised to stay alert and take necessary precautions to ensure safety during the adverse weather conditions.
