Kuala lumpur: Thunderstorms, heavy rain, and strong winds are forecasted to continue affecting regions in Peninsular Malaysia, Sarawak, and Sabah until 7 pm today, as reported by the Malaysian Meteorological Department.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, the statement identifies the specific areas in Peninsular Malaysia that will experience these weather conditions as Kedah (Kulim and Bandar Baharu), Penang, Perak, and Pahang (Cameron Highlands and Lipis). Selangor, particularly Sabak Bernam, is also on the list of affected areas.
The report further details that in Sarawak, regions such as Sibu (Selangau), Mukah, Kapit (Song and Kapit), Bintulu, Miri, and Limbang will face similar weather patterns.
In Sabah, the Interior areas including Sipitang, Tenom, Kuala Penyu, Beaufort, Keningau, and Tambunan, as well as the West Coast, Tawau (Lahad Datu), Sandakan (Telupid, Kinabatangan, Beluran, and Sandakan), and Kudat (Kota Marudu) are expected to experience the same conditions, along with Labuan.
