Thunderstorms and Heavy Rain Forecasted Across Six Malaysian States

Kuala Lumpur: The Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) today issued a forecast predicting thunderstorms, heavy rain, and strong winds affecting specific regions across six states, namely Perak, Pahang, Selangor, Johor, Sarawak, and Sabah, until 9 pm today.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, MetMalaysia identified the districts within Perak that are expected to experience adverse weather conditions, including Larut, Matang and Selama, Hulu Perak, Kuala Kangsar, Kinta, Perak Tengah, Kampar, Batang Padang, and Muallim. In the Peninsula, the forecasted areas include Pahang’s Cameron Highlands, Selangor’s Bentong, and Johor’s Segamat.

In Sarawak, the areas anticipated to be affected by the weather include Sibu (Selangau), Mukah (Dalat and Mukah), Bintulu, and Limbang. Meanwhile, in Sabah, the Interior Divisions of Sipitang, Tenom, and Nabawan are expected to face similar weather conditions.
