Kuala lumpur: The Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) has issued a warning of thunderstorms, heavy rain, and strong winds in five states until 7 pm today.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the affected areas in Kelantan include Tumpat, Pasir Mas, Kota Bharu, Bachok, and Pasir Puteh. In Terengganu, Kuala Nerus and Kuala Terengganu are expected to experience similar weather conditions, while in Johor, the warning encompasses Mersing and Kota Tinggi.

The forecast also extends to Sarawak, specifically affecting Kuching, Serian, Samarahan, and Betong. In Sabah, the adverse weather is predicted to impact the West Coast districts including Papar, Putatan, Penampang, Kota Kinabalu, Tuaran, and Kota Belud.
