Kuala lumpur: The Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) has forecast thunderstorms, heavy rain, and strong winds in five states until 9 p.m. tonight.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, MetMalaysia stated that the areas expected to be affected include the entire state of Kelantan, as well as specific regions in Kedah such as Kuala Muda, Sik, Baling, and Kulim. In Terengganu, the district of Besut is also under the weather alert.

In Sarawak, severe weather conditions are anticipated in Kuching, Serian, Samarahan, Pakan and Julau in Sarikei, Kanowit in Sibu, and Song in Kapit. Meanwhile, in Sabah, the forecast indicates that Nabawan and Tambunan in the Interior division, Papar and Ranau in the West Coast division, and Lahad Datu in Tawau will experience similar adverse weather.
