Kuala lumpur: The Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) has forecast thunderstorms, heavy rain, and strong winds across the whole country until 6.00 this evening.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the warning affects Perlis, Kedah, Penang, Selangor, Melaka, and the Federal Territories of Kuala Lumpur, Putrajaya, and Labuan.

The same conditions are expected to affect Perak, covering areas such as Kerian, Larut, Matang and Selama, Hulu Perak, Kuala Kangsar, Kinta, Perak Tengah, Kampar, Bagan Datuk, Hilir Perak, Batang Padang, and Muallim.

In Kelantan, districts like Pasir Mas, Jeli, Tanah Merah, Machang, Kuala Krai, and Gua Musang are under warning, while in Terengganu, the warning covers Besut, Setiu, Hulu Terengganu, Dungun, and Kemaman.

Pahang regions including Lipis, Jerantut, Maran, Kuantan, Bera, and Rompin are also on alert. Negeri Sembilan will experience similar weather in Seremban, Port Dickson, and Rembau. In Johor, Segamat, Batu Pahat, Kluang, Pontian, and Kulai are included in the forecast.

Over in Sarawak, the warning has been issued for Kuching, Samarahan, Betong (Saratok), Sarikei, Sibu, Mukah (including Tanjung Manis and Mukah), Kapit (Song, Kapit, and Bukit Mabong), Bintulu, Miri (Subis, Beluru, Telang Usan, and Marudi), and Limbang.

In Sabah, the affected areas include the Interior (Sipitang, Kuala Penyu, and Beaufort), the West Coast (Papar, Putatan, Penampang, Kota Kinabalu, Tuaran, and Kota Belud), as well as Kudat (Kota Marudu and Pitas).
