Thunderstorm Warning Issued For Six Malaysian States Until 3 pm

Kuala lumpur: The Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) has issued a thunderstorm warning for six states, with heavy rain and strong winds expected until 3 pm today.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, MetMalaysia's statement highlights that the affected areas in Peninsular Malaysia include Kuala Muda in Kedah; the Southwest, Northeast, and Seberang Perai Utara districts in Penang; Seremban, Port Dickson, and Rembau in Negeri Sembilan; and the entirety of Melaka.

Further details specify that in Sarawak, the warning extends to the regions of Kuching, Serian, Samarahan, and Sri Aman. Meanwhile, in Sabah, the affected areas are Telupid, Beluran, and Sandakan within the Sandakan division, along with Pitas and Kudat in the Kudat division.
