Selangor: All the 16 flood evacuees in Selangor have returned to their homes as the floodwaters have receded. The State Disaster Management Committee (JPBN) Secretariat reported that the evacuees had been accommodated at the relief centre at Sekolah Kebangsaan RTB Bukit Changgang in Banting, which was officially closed at 2.30 pm today.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, while the situation in Selangor has improved, the number of flood evacuees in Perak remains unchanged at 52 individuals as of 5 pm. These evacuees have been residing at the relief centre in Dewan Bandaran Gopeng since June 20. Their displacement was due to their homes in Kampung Ulu Geruntum in Kuala Razila being isolated following a bridge collapse caused by a water surge.
