Kuala lumpur: The Malaysian Meteorological Department has issued a thunderstorm, heavy rain, and strong winds warning for five states and Kuala Lumpur, which remains in effect until 5 pm today. According to BERNAMA News Agency, the affected areas in Pahang include Bentong and Bera. In Selangor, the warning extends to Hulu Selangor, Gombak, Petaling, and Hulu Langat. Similar weather conditions are anticipated in Jelebu, Kuala Pilah, and Jempol in Negeri Sembilan, as well as Sri Aman, Sarikei, Meradong, Kanowit, Mukah, and Song in Sarawak. In Sabah, areas such as Ranau, Kunak, Lahad Datu, Telupid, Kinabatangan, Beluran, Sandakan, Kota Marudu, and Pitas are also under the warning.
