Kuala lumpur: Thunderstorms, heavy rain, and strong winds are expected to hit Kuala Lumpur, Putrajaya, and six other states until 3 pm today.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) released a statement indicating that the affected areas include Pahang, covering Cameron Highlands, Bentong, Temerloh, Bera, and Rompin. In Selangor, the warning extends to Kuala Selangor, Hulu Selangor, Klang, Gombak, Petaling, Kuala Langat, Hulu Langat, and Sepang.

The same weather warning has been issued for Negeri Sembilan, Melaka, and parts of Johor, including Tangkak, Segamat, Muar, Mersing, and Kota Tinggi.

In Sarawak, similar conditions are anticipated in Kuching, Serian, Samarahan, Sri Aman, and Kapit, specifically in areas such as Lubok Antu, Song, and Kapit.
