Kuala Lumpur: The Exchange Asia, via Magnate Media Sdn Bhd, has formalized a partnership with the ESG Association Malaysia (ESGAM) by signing a memorandum of understanding (MoU). This collaboration aims to enhance the credibility of the ESG PLUS Awards as a regional platform aligned with global environmental, social, and governance (ESG) standards.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, the ESG PLUS Awards 2025 intends to highlight exceptional leadership and innovation in ESG fields. Jasmine Cheung, director of Magnate Media, emphasized that the partnership signifies a dedication to accountability, inclusivity, and sustainable impact throughout Asia. She remarked, “Through ESG PLUS, we aim not only to provide recognition but to create a platform that challenges organisations to lead responsibly, engage meaningfully, and grow sustainably.” Cheung expressed confidence in shaping a robust ESG discourse in the region with ESGAM as a strategic ally.
ESGAM president Adjunct Professor Cheah Kok Hoong stated that ESG recognition serves as a call to action and continuous improvement, beyond just accolades.
