Kuantan: A teenager has been reported missing, believed to have run away from her family home in Taman Mahkota Permai here yesterday morning. The girl, Putri Alya Husna Mohd Jabar, 15, was reported missing at about 3 am yesterday by her father when he found her not in the house.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Kuantan police chief ACP Wan Zahari Wan Busu stated that the father last saw his daughter eating in the house at 10:30 pm on Monday, May 6. The father mentioned that he and his wife had no issues or quarrels with the girl. Although she had left home before, she had always returned.

The police chief added that since the family’s move from Taman Tas to Taman Mahkota Permai, the girl did not have any close friends and had not yet enrolled in her new school. At the time of her disappearance, she did not have a mobile phone, as it had been confiscated by her father.

Describing her appearance, she is thin, approximately 160 to 165 centimetres tall, with straight waist-length black hair. The police are continuing their search and urge anyone with information to come forward.
