Tanjong sepat: A teenage boy was found drowned at Pantai Bagan Lalang in Tanjong Sepat, Sepang after he was believed to have gone missing while swimming with his friends this afternoon.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Selangor senior fire officer II Mohamad Issmanto Md Pono stated that the body of Mohd Akhil Zamani Sanusi, 17, was discovered about 300 metres from the shore, which is 10 metres from the location where he was reported missing. The victim is believed to have drowned while swimming at the beach with his friends at around 3.10 pm.

"The victim was found at 6.50 pm by the Water Rescue Team unit using the diving method (Unsurface)," he said in a statement today. Mohamad Issmanto added that Ministry of Health officers confirmed the victim's death before the body was handed over to the police for further action.
