Tokyo: teamLab Planets TOKYO DMM in Toyosu, Tokyo, has debuted an exciting expansion, introducing a large-scale Athletics Forest that is accompanied by more than 20 new artworks.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the expanded museum’s space has increased by 1.5 times, creating a vast new area dedicated to educational projects by teamLab. The new features include Athletics Forest, a multi-dimensional creative athletic space; Catching and Collecting Extinct Forest, where visitors can capture and study extinct animals; and Future Park, a collaborative area for co-creation.

Other fresh offerings at teamLab Planets include the Orchid Glass House, a serene spot for tea surrounded by orchids; the Living Art Store, where visitors can purchase regrown orchids; and Sketch Factory, where visitors’ drawings created within the exhibit are transformed into original products to take home. Additionally, the outdoor area featuring the Black Emptiness Table, a popular spot to enjoy Vegan Ramen UZU Tokyo, will also undergo major renovations.
