Synthomer Commits RM1.4 Billion to Johor Investments Over Two Decades

Johor: The UK-based Synthomer, a prominent specialty chemicals company, has invested over RM1.4 billion in Johor over the last 20 years, significantly contributing to advancements in technology and the glove industry’s supply chain, among other sectors.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Investment, Trade and Industry Minister Tengku Datuk Seri Zafrul Abdul Aziz highlighted that Synthomer’s latest investment emphasizes its dedication to upgrading operations and embracing green technologies.

‘Such collaborations enhance Malaysia’s competitiveness in the global chemicals sector and align with the New Industrial Master Plan (NIMP 2030) for sustainable growth,’ Tengku Zafrul noted in a social media post today.
