Kuala lumpur: Suria KLCC, Malaysia’s iconic experiential shopping destination, proudly unveils the much-anticipated return of its award-winning “Picnic in the Park”, now reimagined as a vibrant festival set across the Esplanade KLCC and KLCC Park from today until July 6.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, Suria KLCC Sdn Bhd executive director and chief executive officer Francis Tan emphasized that the signature campaign, now in its third year, embodies their commitment to creating experiences that transcend conventional shopping. The 2025 edition of “Picnic in the Park” promises its most dynamic showcase, featuring modern rustic d©cor, a Glam Bar for festival-ready appearances, and a retro combi van serving as both a snack hub and an Instagram-worthy photo spot.
The festival is accessible to Suria KLCC shoppers who have spent RM3,000 and above in two receipts from June 13 to 29. These shoppers receive an exclusive picnic admission for four people, along with RM80 in food and beverage e-vouchers. The festival operates daily from 4 pm to 9 pm throughout the campaign period and is limited to 75 groups of four daily.
Guests will enjoy a unique outdoor experience at KLCC Park, framed by the iconic Petronas Twin Towers and the mesmerizing Lake Symphony. They can explore a vibrant open-air festival ground at Esplanade KLCC, adorned with flowing sheer canopies and complemented by potted greenery.
Upon registration, participants receive a roadmap card and a picnic basket filled with essentials. The journey begins at the Glam Bar Station, offering whimsical face painting, handcrafted beaded accessories, and other engaging activities. Additional attractions include a DIY drinks bar, coffee-tasting corner, and a photobooth with unlimited printouts.
KLCC Park serves as a tranquil retreat with tipi tents, macram© d©cor, and earth-toned picnic setups for relaxation. Guests can also engage in workshops and activities such as tote bag personalization and creating giant bubbles with their families while enjoying a picnic meal.
The festival offers sips and bites from various establishments, including Imperial Chakri Palace, TGI Fridays, Sakana, All About Chew, Eight Ounce Coffee Co, and Gong Cha. Exciting goodies are provided by brands like Toys ‘R’ Us, Remax, Kiehl’s, MAC, and HOKA.
The festival’s centerpiece on KLCC Park Hill is a stunning 10-foot macram© installation and performance stage, hosting a diverse lineup of artists from the Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra to buskers and drum circles. Each evening concludes with a front-row view of the Lake Symphony Fountain Show, providing a spectacular visual finale.
