Sungai nibong: The Sungai Nibong Highway, located in front of Kristal Point, will undergo a temporary closure starting from 11 pm this Monday until 3 am the following day. This closure is part of a scheduled maintenance operation.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the Penang Public Works Department (JKR) has announced that the closure is necessary to facilitate the dismantling and installation of a new Variable Message Signage (VMS) LED board on behalf of Jambatan Kedua Sdn Bhd. The closure will impact the entire stretch of the highway from the Bukit Jambul roundabout towards Queensbay.

JKR has advised road users to proceed with caution, reduce their speed, and follow the safety signages that will be installed in the affected area. Motorists are encouraged to consider alternative routes and plan their journeys to avoid inconvenience during the closure period.
