Pahang: The Sultan of Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri'ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah and Tengku Ampuan Pahang Tunku Azizah Aminah Maimunah Iskandariah extended their 69th National Day greetings to all the people of Pahang.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Al-Sultan Abdullah and Tunku Azizah expressed their gratitude to Allah SWT for the blessings of peace, prosperity, and harmony enjoyed by the people throughout the 69 years of independence. They emphasized the importance of preserving the country's independence and sovereignty, highlighting unity, mutual respect, and tolerance as the foundations of national harmony and stability.

Their Royal Highnesses conveyed this message in a post uploaded on the Pahang Sultanate's Facebook page, urging all the people to foster the spirit of patriotism. They encouraged citizens to live by the principles of the Rukun Negara in daily life as a means to strengthen unity and identity.

Furthermore, the Sultan of Pahang and Tengku Ampuan of Pahang expressed hope that the younger generation would appreciate the history of the country's struggle, playing a role in preserving its heritage, culture, and social harmony.
