Bangkok: Southern Score Builders Bhd announced that its 51 per cent-owned subsidiary, SJEE Engineering Sdn Bhd, today accepted a letter of award (LoA) from a local construction company to undertake sub-contract works for a data centre project worth RM87.8 million.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, the company stated in a Bursa Malaysia filing that the sub-contract works would encompass the supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of the electrical and extra-low voltage system. The board expressed that the project aligns with the ordinary course of business and is deemed beneficial for the group.
Southern Score Builders clarified that the acceptance of the LoA by SJEE Engineering will not affect the company’s share capital and shareholding structure nor have any immediate impact on the net assets per share and gearing of the company. However, they anticipate that the project will positively contribute to the net assets and earnings per share of the company and its group of companies starting from the financial year ending June 30, 2026, until the project’s completion.
The project is set to commence on December 3, 2025, with an expected completion date of December 7, 2026.
