Ampang: A six-metre-high hillside collapsed in Taman Bukit Teratai, Ampang, reportedly due to a leakage from an underground pipe.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, the Selangor Fire and Rescue Department's Operations Division assistant director, Ahmad Mukhlis Mukhtar, stated that they received an emergency call about the incident at 9.19 am. A fire engine with six personnel and an Emergency Medical Rescue Services unit from the Pandan Indah Fire and Rescue Station were dispatched to the scene.
Upon arriving at the location at 9.28 am, the department confirmed a landslide involving a 20-foot (approximately six metres) slope. Fortunately, the incident did not involve any houses or result in casualties. Ahmad Mukhlis Mukhtar mentioned that the department was monitoring the site to ensure it remains safe and does not pose any danger to residents in the area.
