Kuala lumpur: The Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) has issued a warning concerning thunderstorms, heavy rain, and strong winds, which are expected to impact several areas in Perak, Pahang, Johor, Sabah, and Labuan until 4 pm today.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, almost all districts in Perak are anticipated to experience these adverse weather conditions. The affected districts include Kerian, Larut, Matang dan Selama, Kuala Kangsar, Manjung, Kinta, Perak Tengah, Kampar, Bagan Datuk, Hilir Perak, and Batang Padang.

In Pahang, the MetMalaysia warning extends to Rompin, while in Johor, the areas of Batu Pahat, Kluang, Mersing, Pontian, Kulai, Kota Tinggi, and Johor Bahru are on alert for severe weather.

The warning also includes parts of Sabah, with thunderstorms expected in the interior region of Tambunan, the West Coast, and Tawau. The entirety of Labuan is also under the weather alert issued by MetMalaysia.
