Kuala lumpur: The Sultan of Selangor, Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah, and the Tengku Permaisuri of Selangor, Tengku Permaisuri Norashikin, have conveyed their condolences to Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri'ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah over the passing of the Sultan of Pahang's elder sister, Tengku Puteri Seri Kemala Tengku Datuk Seri Aishah Almarhum Sultan Ahmad Shah, yesterday.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Sultan Sharafuddin and Tengku Permaisuri Norashikin expressed their sadness and sorrow over her passing.

'Their Royal Highnesses express their sadness and sorrow over the passing of Tengku Datuk Seri Aishah and pray that her soul will be showered with Allah SWT's mercy and placed among the faithful. Al-Fatihah,' the post said.

Tengku Datuk Seri Aishah passed away at a hospital in Kuala Lumpur at 9.15 pm yesterday. Her remains will be taken to the Pahang Royal Mausoleum in Pekan today for burial with full honours and according to royal customs.
