SBC Medical To Acquire Singapore’s AHH, Expanding Into Asia.


KUALA LUMPUR: SBC Medical Group Holdings Incorporated (SBC), announced it has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Aesthetic Healthcare Holdings Pte Ltd (AHH), a Singapore-based aesthetic medical treatment provider, in an all cash transaction.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the acquisition marks the first step in SBC’s strategy to grow its business through acquisitions, which includes plans to expand its business internationally with a primary focus on the United States and Asia markets. SBC Founder and Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Yoshiyuki Aikawa, expressed satisfaction with the acquisition, highlighting AHH’s reputation for providing aesthetic medical services in Singapore and its strong customer base.

Meanwhile, AHH CEO, Dr Ewen Chee, remarked on the acquisition as an opportunity for growth. He emphasized SBC’s advanced technology, management expertise, and experience in the Japanese market as key factors that will contribute to AHH’s development. Dr Chee expressed confidence in the joint
effort to lead the Asian aesthetic medicine industry and meet patient expectations.

SBC is a global provider of consulting and management services to medical corporations and their clinics. The company views Singapore as an ideal hub for regional brand development due to its strategic location and developed medical infrastructure.

With AHH’s acquisition, SBC has bolstered its presence in the Asian market. AHH’s portfolio, which includes four brands and 21 outlets, will be integrated into SBC’s clinic network, enhancing its customer base in the region. This expansion aligns with SBC’s mission to lead the aesthetic medical industry by offering innovative treatments across borders.
