Sarawak Navy Veterans Welcome Financial Aid in 2027 Budget

Accra:Sarawak The Sarawak branch of the Royal Malaysian Navy Veterans Association (PVTLDM) has expressed gratitude for the special financial assistance allocated to Malaysian Armed Forces (ATM) veterans in the 2027 Budget.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the association's president, Warrant Officer 1 (Rtd) Unyok Dasi, commented that this financial assistance demonstrates the government's appreciation for the veterans' service and sacrifices, helping to alleviate their financial burdens amid rising living costs.

Unyok emphasized that veterans, particularly former Royal Malaysian Navy (TLDM) personnel in Sarawak, are thankful for the government's ongoing commitment to their welfare, as evidenced in the four MADANI Budgets since Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim became Prime Minister. He noted that the special financial aid has consistently benefited ATM veterans, including those from the TLDM in Sarawak.

He further pointed out that the assistance would support recipients in managing their daily needs and expenses. Unyok advised TLDM veterans in Sarawak who qualify for the aid to manage their finances prudently and avoid unnecessary spending.
