Sepang: Home Minister Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution Ismail has expressed his condolences to the family of Constable Muhammad Rahimi Amirudin, who was found drowned after being swept away by strong currents near Klinik Desa Giching in Sepang.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, the Home Minister described the passing of Constable Muhammad Rahimi as a loss to the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) and the nation’s security forces. Saifuddin Nasution conveyed his prayers for the late policeman, asking for forgiveness and mercy for his soul, and hoping that he is placed among the righteous. He also expressed his wish that Allah rewards the constable for his service and contributions to the country.
The body of Constable Muhammad Rahimi was found at 7:30 am by the search team. Reports indicate that the incident occurred when the Perodua Bezza he was driving skidded into a drain in a flood-hit area near Klinik Desa Giching at 11 pm on Friday.
