Kuala lumpur: The Rukun Negara Youth Tour 2026 programme will be implemented from this month to October, involving 15 selected higher learning institutions nationwide in an effort to strengthen unity, patriotism, and self-confidence among Malaysian youth. National Unity Minister Datuk Aaron Ago Dagang emphasized that the programme adopts an interactive and experience-based approach to instill the values of the Rukun Negara in daily life.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Aaron Ago Dagang highlighted that the initiative focuses on building values, integrity, and self-confidence among youth, laying the foundation for unity and nation-building. The programme, organised by the Ministry of National Unity through the Department of National Unity and Integration, targets the participation of youth aged 18 to 30.

Each instalment of the programme will span two days and one night, with content structured around four main themes: 'Kenapa dan Mengapa', 'Menjunjung Rukun Negara', 'Meraikan Kepelbagaian', and 'Pembinaan Nilai dan Jati Diri'. The themes are designed to foster an understanding of nationalism and the critical role of the Rukun Negara in national unity, while encouraging the practice of its values in everyday life.

The programme further aims to highlight the value of diversity as a mechanism for strengthening unity, alongside the development of values, integrity, and identity grounded in patriotism.
