Kuala lumpur: Malaysia's economic prosperity and strong inflow of investments are the result of racial harmony and political stability guided by the principles of the Rukun Negara, said Minister in the Prime Minister's Department (Religious Affairs) Dr Zulkifli Hasan. Zulkifli emphasized the importance of these principles in maintaining the nation's unity and strength.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Zulkifli expressed gratitude on his Facebook page, highlighting that Malaysians, particularly Muslims, should be thankful for the blessings granted by Allah SWT. He urged citizens to pray that Malaysia remains unaffected by the global supply crises impacting other nations.

Zulkifli reiterated the importance of adhering to the advice of His Majesty Sultan Ibrahim, King of Malaysia, who emphasized the significance of the Rukun Negara principles in preserving national unity. Zulkifli noted that the Sultan's decree aligns with the sentiments expressed by the Sultan of Selangor, Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah, demonstrating the Malay Rulers' concern for the well-being of the people and inter-community relations.

He called on all Malaysians to embrace the King's decree and return to the Rukun Negara principles to ensure ongoing peace and progress for the nation's benefit. Sultan Ibrahim, during his royal address at the investiture ceremony for Federal awards and honours at Istana Negara, urged Malaysians to incorporate these principles into their daily lives.
