Peninsular malaysia: The Rubber Production Incentive (IPG) for cuplump and latex has been activated in Peninsular Malaysia, Sabah, and Sarawak for June 2025, according to the Malaysian Rubber Board (MRB).

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the IPG would be activated if the average monthly farmgate price for cuplump rubber is at RM3.00 per kilogramme (kg) or below, with the IPG for latex activated concurrently. In June 2025, the average farmgate price for cuplump was RM2.80 per kg for Peninsular Malaysia, and RM2.50 per kg for Sabah and Sarawak.

The IPG rate for latex is fixed at 90 sen per kg for latex with 100 per cent dry rubber content (DRC). The activated IPG rate for cuplump and latex in Peninsular Malaysia is 20 sen for 50 per cent DRC and 40 sen per kg for 100 per cent DRC. Meanwhile, the rate in Sabah and Sarawak is 50 sen per kg for 50 per cent DRC and RM1 per kg for 100 per cent DRC. MRB said smallholders are eligible to receive IPG payments from July 1-31, 2025, based on the rubber production in June 2025.
