Kuala lumpur: Kerjaya Prospek Group Bhd has announced its acquisition of three pieces of land in Selangor for a total of RM112.79 million, aiming to bolster its land banks at strategic sites for future growth.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the group disclosed in a filing to Bursa Malaysia that its indirect wholly owned subsidiary, Senandung Raya Sdn Bhd, has signed a sale and purchase agreement (SPA) with Sunrise Bright City Sdn Bhd to procure a freehold land valued at RM59.07 million. The land, spanning 1.57 hectares, is situated at 9th Mile Kuchai Road, Petaling, Selangor, and remains vacant agricultural land.

In a separate filing with Bursa Malaysia, Kerjaya Prospek revealed that Senandung Raya also entered into two additional SPAs with Top Up Properties Sdn Bhd, a related entity to Sunrise, for the purchase of two adjoining freehold land parcels for RM53.72 million. These parcels, measuring approximately 0.698 hectares and 0.728 hectares, are located at the same address in Petaling, Selangor.

Kerjaya Prospek explained that these proposed acquisitions are part of the group’s strategy to expand its property investment segment by increasing its land banks at locations with potential for growth, thereby enhancing its property development portfolio. The group noted that the specific future use of the lands has not yet been decided, and the expected gross development value and development costs will depend on various factors.
