Roof Collapse at Jalan Green Hall Causes Damage to Parked Car

Kuala lumpur: A section of the roof of a building undergoing repairs at Jalan Green Hall collapsed today, resulting in damage to a car parked nearby as it was hit by falling debris. Fortunately, no injuries were reported from the incident.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, checks revealed that the building's repair work had received permit approval from the Penang Island City Council (MBPP) Heritage Conservation Department. MBPP Mayor Datuk A. Rajendran stated that the council has directed the project's architect to take swift action in response to the collapse.

"MBPP has instructed the project architect to take immediate action, and he has confirmed that the necessary measures are being implemented. An investigation is also underway," he commented when contacted. In the meantime, MBPP's enforcement team has erected barricades around the affected area to ensure the safety of the public.
